Parrot Content — Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how you can remove Parrot Content's access to your social accounts and how to request deletion of your personal data, including data received from Meta (Facebook and Instagram).

Quick options

You can delete your data in two ways:

Option 1 — Remove Parrot Content's access via Meta

Removing access limits Parrot Content's ability to receive new data from your connected accounts. After you remove access, you can also request deletion of previously stored Meta‑derived data (see Option 2).

• •Facebook: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → Find "Parrot Content" → Remove.
• •Instagram: Instagram app → Settings & activity → Accounts Center → Password and security → Apps and websites → Logged in with Facebook → Remove "Parrot Content."

Option 2 — Request deletion from Parrot Content

Email us at privacy@parrotcontent.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Include the email address associated with your Parrot Content account and, if applicable, your connected Meta username/handle. If you prefer, you may also request deletion through your account settings (if available).

What we delete

Upon a verified request, we delete or de‑identify personal data we maintain about you that is no longer needed to provide the services, including Meta‑derived data (for example, account IDs, handles, media you chose to import, captions, metrics/insights, and related logs).

What we may retain (limited)

We may retain information as required by law, to prevent fraud or abuse, to resolve disputes, or to enforce agreements. We also maintain minimal system logs and backup archives for a limited period; these are securely held and purged on a schedule.

Timing

We begin processing verified requests promptly and generally complete deletion within 30 days. If we need more time (for example, due to system backups or complex records), we will let you know.

Verification

To protect your privacy, we may ask you to verify your request by confirming control of your account email address or Meta account, or by providing limited additional information.

If you already removed Parrot Content's access

If you have already removed access in Facebook or Instagram, you can still email us to request deletion of previously stored Meta‑derived data. Please mention that you removed access and include your handle.
